In this webinar, Tony Marker and Linda Urban will talk about ways we can adopt a "sustainability lens" as we go about our work as performance practitioners, regardless of what level we work at.

What's a "sustainability lens"? It's one that considers environmental and social factors, as well as economic ones. Sometimes that's referred to as keeping a "triple bottom line" (TBL) in mind.

Sustainability is becoming a strategic imperative for an increasing percentage of organizations. The question is—when they work to define and implement the initiatives they will take, will they do it effectively? As with many problems and opportunities in organizations, many of these questions are essentially performance questions.

There is tremendous opportunity for performance improvement practitioners to use their skills in support of sustainability efforts, and also to broaden their skills and knowledge to work in this area

This webinar talks about how we might begin to put on a sustainability lens, and introduces one particular tool - a "sustainability impact assessment" - that can be useful when getting started in this area.

Join us, and bring your business examples! Tony and Linda will work live through an example or two of how you can use this impact assessment to consider sustainability impacts within an organization (or a unit/department in an organization).
