There are plenty of opportunities for you to get involved and give back to the chapter!  We are looking to each and every one of our members to share the work load, collaborate and get more actively involved with the chapter! If you are interested in volunteering but don‘t see a specific position or task that meets your interests, feel free to get in touch to discuss ways to contribute to the chapter. Please note that the interested candidate must be a current member to volunteer.

Volunteer FAQ  (Frequently Asked Questions)

  • Who can join? Please note that the interested candidate must be a current member to volunteer.

  • How do I volunteer? In the case of volunteering, we will need your name, your interest and how much time you can commit to per week. After the board finish processing your application, You will start your job shadowing assignments immediately.

  • What type of commitment is involved? It is up to you. Given our innovative volunteer model, you can work on as many tasks as you wish, depending on your personal developmental goal and availability. We encourage volunteers to devote the time and effort they promise to fulfill the certain tasks on a timely basis as delegated by the chair.

  • Is it difficult to become a volunteer? Not at all! We are looking to each and every one of our members to share the workload, collaborate and get more actively involved with the chapter.

  • Will I be trained? One of the most effective ways to learn is to engage in intelligent conversation with an expert on a subject. We have deep and broad expertise on our own board in addition to pro-bono connections and expertise at the international level. We will happily offer mentoring and job shadowing to every new volunteer.

  • What are the benefits of volunteering? Volunteering offers members the opportunity to learn by doing, build a network of valuable professional contacts and friendships, and strengthen and influence our chapter.
