Back by popular demand - the Oyster Barrel! We are inviting many other performance improvement professionals in Northern California (and beyond!). Join us to connect, catch up, network and exchange ideas, build community, and - of course- eat, and have fun. We'll even have a give-away, with books donated by local authors in the performance improvement field. Bring your business cards for a drawing. (We'll have some blanks if you don't have a business card.)

Family and friends welcome! We will not just "talk shop." :) Note that registration is by individual, so to include another person, just register them.

Time and Date: 11:00 AM to 2:00PM, Saturday, October 22, 2016

Place: Petaluma, California.
This year we are pleased to announce that we are being hosted by the US Coast Guard, at a Lake Recreation Area in their Petaluma Training Center.

Directions: Use your GPS or Mapping application to take you to the USCG Training Center, 599 Tomales Road in Petaluma. You will need to check in at the Front Gate, and then drive through the facility to the Lake Recreation center (a short distance). Note: Current auto registration and proof of insurance must be shown at the gate.

What will be there: Coffee, tea, and breakfast goodies for those who get there early to help set-up. Oysters on the grills, and a hot grill for you to use for other food to grill.

What you can bring: Something to grill of your choice, if you do not enjoy oysters, and an appetizer, salad, or dessert to share (if your last name begins with A to H: bring an appetizer; I to P: bring a salad; Q to Z: dessert) and any beverages you'd like to drink. (Note: Beer, wine, and ale may be brought onto the base and consumed at the TRACEN Lake Recreation area, but no hard liquor.)

Cost: $15.00 if you want to eat oysters and $10.00 if you don't want oysters!

Please register ASAP, and at least a week in advance. We must provide a list of attendees to the USCG in advance, and attendees will need to check in at the Front Gate.

This will be a fun way to get to know others and share your work and other interests!

We look forward to welcoming you on Saturday, October 22. (A big thank you to LCDR Hannah Kawamoto and CDR Eric King for helping coordinate things, on the USCG side!)
